![]() ![]() It appears to be a bios for overclocking an ASUS nvidia graphics card which I actually have. Then next I was going to find the modded version for the bios I have now, and then of course proceed with flashing my bios following another tutorial. To do that, I was going to follow this tutorial I found on youtube here: So how I was planning on going about this originally was to 1st to backup my current bios of course. Windows 7 (6.1) Home Premium Edition 64-bit This is something I want to do before I spend a bunch of money purchasing a completely new ASUS motherboard and computer tower.Īnd with that being said here are my computer specs: I believe this is the only way I can do this. In order to do that I apparently have to overclock from the bios, and In order to overclock from bios my bios has to be flashed to a version that allows overclocking. With that being said I still would like to move forward and tap into the full potential of this ram or atleast give it a slight boost using the default XMP profile for "safe" overclocking. Yes I understand the risk and possibly bricking the computer. Yes I understand they don't allow overclocking by default because it voids the warranty, and they don't want a bunch of warranty claims. I'm looking to unlock the full power of my ram. Basically you all know why i'm here, lol. ![]()
